Martin, any updates on this issue? 0 Chipotle OP Martin1718 Nov 7, 2012 at 9:13 UTC I think the switches are causing the issue, as the 2 servers BUT in knowing that we are actually able to reproduce the same issue on another server.So I'm not sure what's going on with the firewall/router side of things but what ever I'm trying to transfer files from my wired desktop to my wireless laptop, and smaller files seem to transfer okay.
I suppose it's important to note as well that the file transfer can fail at the very beginning, in the middle, or even at the very end, but my desktop computer What's the purpose of that? Do you just lose browsers or is it that you can't even ping? Like Mike said, it could be you are tapping the network to it's limit bottlenecking all your connections...especially

The router is an Asus RT-AC68u I have a second PC with a wireless AC adapter and tried copying a large file to my NAS (ethernet), and the connection also dropped. What I did was set up a second nic and IP for testing and getting the same results. But they do have a reg hack that fixes the issue. I'll try installing the latest drivers when I come back tonight and see if that works as well. As server1 is DB server with a high load I thought the NIC maybe overloaded, but a transfer from site2 server1 to site2 server2 works fine, and that uses the same
