If MS maintains this UI direction without at least official built in on screen support (ie- not just a registry setting) to customize the layout then I foresee a tough sell. I want the classic menu to be at the top and I don't want that command bar. Microsoft has several times told us that they will not and have no plans of supporting side by side installations. The earlier IE betas had this problem on many websites, but it is worse in this beta. I'd still love to see a word-wheel search (à la Windows Live Messenger) at the top of the Favorites menu. Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools. I've used the Vista UI. The (now working, fingers crossed) map is here if anyone wants to take a look at how I got my one to work.
It has many fixes since 5296. The IE7 uninstaller was missing from add/remove.
